What is the Walk for Life?

Join us on Saturday, April 17, as CHOICES hosts our Annual Walk for Life!

Walk for Life is a simple way for people of all ages to make a difference in the lives of women, men, and babies in our community. When you register as a walker and raise funds — or sponsor a walker — YOU empower women and men to make healthy life choices by providing medical services, education, and ongoing support, all shared with the love of Christ.

Join us in person at Blue Jacket Park or walk in your own neighborhood.

If you have any questions, please contact Jenny at jenny@choiceswomensclinic.com or 407-244-5529.

How will my sponsor donations be used?

All funds raised at the Walk for Life benefit the work of Choices Women’s Clinic to transform hearts and save lives in Central Florida. Direct sponsors to choicesfriends.com to learn more about us or use the information on your pledge sheet. Be sure to let your sponsors know their donation is tax-deductible.

Who should I ask to sponsor me?

Click here for ideas – We bet you know more people than you think! Don’t forget to ask family and friends who live out of town! Using your social media can also be a powerful tool – take a peek at our Resources page for ready-to-go social posts and easy-to-share videos! Obtain your first pledge from a generous donor, often other donors will match that amount.

How much does it cost to participate in the Walk?

There is no cost to participate in the Walk for Life. However, since this is one of the primary ways Choices Women’s Clinic raises funds to save lives, we encourage Walkers to participate by raising funds or sponsoring themselves.

Can I bring my dog to the Walk for Life?

This event is welcome to dogs. We ask that you abide by city park regulations (dogs on leash, picking up after them). Due to the size of the event, we also ask that you use your discretion and bring only friendly dogs that behave well around large groups of people.

How do I get this year’s awesome Walk t-shirt?

Everyone who raises at least $100 will earn this year’s shirt! All volunteers will also receive this year’s shirt as a thank you.

How do I turn in my fundraising?

As you arrive at Blue Jacket Park, please be sure to check in at the white Check-In canopies when you arrive so that your pledge sheets can be processed and your prizes can be awarded! Be sure to arrive early so you can get checked in with plenty of time before the Walk kick-off. Remember to bring all cash and checks you’ve collected with you.

If you choose to walk on your own, you can drop off all pledge sheets, checks, and other materials during business hours or mail them to Choices Women’s Clinic Downtown at 1851 W. Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32804. If you have any questions, please contact our Events Coordinator at Jenny@choiceswomensclinic.com

I can’t Walk or Run that day can I still participate?
